Built in 1929, Sierra Grande Lodge is on the National Register of Historic Places. The transformations it has undergone in the many years since it's origination as the first bathhouse have been extensive and varied. The Vera Hotel (pictured above) has undergone many transformations since it was floated down the Rio Grande from Elephant Butte to perch high above the town of Truth or Consequences. The Vera Hotel now serves as our conference & meeting facility.
